How are Entries Organised

This dictionary is comprised of two sections: a Barbareño Chumash-English lexicon and an English-Barbareño Chumash index. The lexicon is divided into three parts: an alphabetical vocabulary list, with Chumash headwords followed by their practical English definition; a list of grammatical particles, alphabetized by Chumash word followed by English definition; and finally three-column list of Chumash words borrowed from Spanish, shown in alphabetical order by Chumash word, with its Spanish source and English definition. The index is organised alphabetically by English word and its Chumash equivalent(s).
