Hi Yaashaar Hadadian,

A solid draft! Here are my scores, with general and section-specific comments below that. Let me know if any clarification or discussion is needed. Scale of 1 to 5, where 1 = strongly disagree and 5 = strongly agree:

  • (5) The topic is relevant for the course.
  • (4) The writing is clear and the English is good.
  • (5) The page is written at an appropriate level for CPSC 522 students (where the students have diverse backgrounds).
  • (4) The formalism (definitions, mathematics) was well chosen to make the page easier to understand.
  • (3) The abstract is a concise and clear summary.
  • (5) There were appropriate (original) examples that helped make the topic clear.
  • (3) There was appropriate use of (pseudo-) code.
  • (2.5) It had a good coverage of representations, semantics, inference and learning (as appropriate for the topic).
  • (4.5) It is correct.
  • (4) It was neither too short nor too long for the topic.
  • (4) It was an appropriate unit for a page (it shouldn't be split into different topics or merged with another page).
  • (4) It links to appropriate other pages in the wiki.
  • (3) The references and links to external pages are well chosen.
  • (4) I would recommend this page to someone who wanted to find out about the topic.
  • (3.5) This page should be highlighted as an exemplary page for others to emulate.

Suggestions:

  • 1. The first paragraph in Abstract part should be a new part may be Introduction in content.
  • 2. There is a very long sentence in the first paragraph in Abstract part that is a little difficult to understand. The sentence is "The idea behind the Bayesian Network and its power is where, by exploiting the conditional independency of a variable......."
  • 3. In Related Pages section, the relationship is not so clear. I think you can view or give a link to Graphical_Models, it explains more clear the differences between these three models.
  • 4. If you want , you can add D-separation in Dependencies in Bayesian Networks section. I think it is suitable to put there.
  • 5. Using math tag in Example section.
  • 6. In Constructing The Network part, it should be

Case Study is perfect!

Sincerely,

YuYan

Hi YuYan,

Thanks for your detailed review. I have made a lot of changes and addressed those issues you pointed out. Just, regarding number 5, I tried to cover the only relationships that were essential to the discussion, to not make an overlap with other pages, as I believe they were mentioned in the graphical representation page.

I really appreciate your comments.
Yaashaar
