For the soil meme, if we were to copy a definition from the lecture slides to use in the punchline, do we need to cite the lecture slides or for this purpose is it okay not to cite?

Sorry so just to clarify, for my meme I used the soil scientists' definition of soil but I did not cite the lecture slides at all. I submitted the meme before I thought about this and now I cannot figure out how to edit or delete it so I just want to make sure I won't get in trouble for plagiarism!!
