Midterm 1 Details
Our midterm exams are scheduled during regular lecture times , so midterms are at the same time and length (11:00-11:50 am) & in the same rooms as lectures.
Question types to expect on the midterm are calculation, short answer (ie brief explanation), multiple choice, fill in the blanks, and multiple answer. Basically, the types of questions that are in our lab assignments and problem sets.
On Jan 31 (during our lecture time) we will have session(s) to help you prepare for exams, so you will see even more examples of short answer type of questions.
This year we changed the format of our midterm exam so there are no practice exam examples.
The last topic to be included in the midterm no.1 is "Heat transfer through soil and thermal properties" (ie what was covered on Jan 29)
Note you should write the midterm exam in the classroom for the section in which you are registered. Section 001 in McMl 166 and Section 002 in SWING 121.
