Dexter, the information given in Q6 from March 6 class e.g. texture, pH, organic matter - are for the A horizon. Thus based on the coarse texture, the upper horizon of the Bose soil has good drainage. But, as you note, the parent material is basal till which is compact - thus soil water movement at depth would be restricted.
