Interesting Topic

What an interesting topic of choice for your Wiki page project. This was something that I had heard about, but after reading your page I now have a much greater awareness. Great job as well on the presentation - I thought the inclusion of images complimented your topic nicely. Good work!

Great Content

Hello! I very much liked reading and navigating your wiki page. The topic was very interesting and you did a great job explaining its significance, specifically in India. I think that including specific examples of skin-lightening treatments and photo examples of how they work created a great visual for viewers, and I thought that you brought up many relevant points such as how the Caste system plays into it, the role of social media, and ethical considerations. I pretty much think everything about your wiki is great and actually don't have any suggestions, but I did just notice one little grammar mistake you might want to fix: under the heading "medical implications of skin lightening", I believe your very last sentence is a quote as you have a quotation before '15 million', but there is no end quote which I believe should go after 'sold annually".

Hi Mikayla! Thank you so much for catching that error. I had proofread it and completely dismissed that. It was supposed to be a quote, so I appreciate you bringing my attention to it. I am glad you liked my page.

Great page

Hi Imran,

This was a really amazing and informative page. Being from India I am well aware about this issue and really liked how you went into the depths of it. It is also interesting how you used an intersectional lens which again brings to light the normalised standards of beauty. The page is also very well organised and has amazing details!

Amazing Page!

Hi Imran!,

What an informative and well-written page! Personally, I found the topic to be very interesting as it was something I had never heard of before. That being said, I have heard about some aspects of your page in relation to my culture as it is not uncommon for people to use skin colour altering products and I found that to be both relatable and interesting that it does not just happen in China. In terms of your page and comments, I may make towards improving it or making edits there is not much I can say. I found your Wiki page to be very informative and concise without the use of useless information. Overall, great response!

Thanks Gabe! Interesting overlap in culture, I am glad you shared. Looking forward to reading yours as well.

Feedback and Suggestions

Hi, I found your topic very interesting. Your article was very clear in its purpose and intention. I noticed that you have cited your work but it's not formatted correctly for a wikipedia page. Hopefully you will find this helpful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Referencing_for_beginners Something I think you could add into your page that would be beneficial is a photo of the different shades within the same race.

Hi Jenny! Yes, I am just figuring it out so made those citations as notes so I can update them and keep count. Thank you! This was really helpful.
