Sprouts is an organic, local, vegetarian AMS club in the basement of UBC's Student Union Building. It is run by a group of students dedicated to supporting sustainable food systems, cultivating community, and promoting awareness of agriculture, ecology, taste, health, and social justice.

Sprouts offers a number of initiatives, including:

Sprouts Box

CSA-like service that provides weekly delivery of local, organic and affordable produce to campus residents’ doors

Community Eats

Every Friday from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM (during the Winter semester), the usual Sprouts activities are replaced by a for-donation hot lunch. Bring your own plate and cutlery and enjoy the variety of vegan dishes cooked up by their volunteers
