The Hennings Building, or Hennings, is a 4-floored building at the University of British Columbia's Point-Grey campus. It is home to the UBC Department of Physics & Astronomy. The Hennings Building is connected to the Hebb Building by a skywalk between the third floors of both buildings.
There was a building on the modern Hennings Building site since 1925. The current building was constructed between 1946 to 1947, and was known as the Physics Building. The current name was adopted in 1963 to honour A.E. Hennings, a long-time professor of physics at UBC. The Hennings Building reached its current form after undergoing renovations from 1966 to 1976.
The Hennings Building houses six classrooms:
In addition to classrooms, the main office of the UBC Department of Physics & Astronomy is located in Hennings room 325.
