The author is unknown. Alaska Native Archive states that the author could be Ivan Aleksandrovich Kuskov. Handwritten notes and interpretations are from Michael Krauss.

Alaska Native Language Archive estimates that this word list was published in approximately 1812. Some of the notes have been added later.

How are Entries Organised
The word list is split up into sections with difficult to read headings. At the top of the list is a heading titled Eyak list, which seems to be the only identifiable language heading. Entries are numbered but do not appear to be organized in any specific way.
The wordlist appears to be scanned from a notebook on pages 25 - 43. The other pages are notes.
