The dictionary contains several appendices, the first of which is a grammar that includes information about Western Apache sentence structure, verbs, pronouns, and particles. The following appendix includes information on the Western Apache sound system and pronunciation. The third appendix contains topical word lists. Topics include plants, words derived from Spanish, kinship terms, calendar terms, and terms to do with time of day/night. The list of plants is listed Western Apache to English and often includes images. The other word lists are listed English to Western Apache.
