Entries are organized alphabetically by Dogrib in the first section, and alphabetically by English in the second section. Entries in both sections only include the headword (in either English or Dogrib) and the translation (in either English or Dogrib).

The grammatical information at the beginning of the resource includes information on the Dogrib alphabet, types of words, types of verbs, paradigms, the Dogrib language and its family, the writing system, how the dictionary was made, and orthographic standardization.

A section titled Some Useful Words is included on the last page of the dictionary. It includes seasons, days, and months.
