How are Entries Organised
The language lessons, which account for most of the textbook, are organised thematically. The lessons begin very simple, supplying learners with concrete, everyday objects and phrases to help with speaking Coeur d'Alene. The lessons gradually increase in difficulty, introducing new sentence patterns and forms. The word lists included at the end of each lesson, while not organised in any particular way, are topical in content, containing terms introduced in the corresponding lesson.
Entries in the Glossary section of the course book (pages 125–140) are organised alphabetically by Coeur d'Alene in the Coeur d'Alene—English section, and alphabetically by English in the English—Coeur d'Alene section. The glossary entries include the Coeur d'Alene or English headword (depending on the direction of the section) and the translation.
