How are Entries Organised
Entries are organized alphabetically by Dakelh in the first section, Central Carrier to English: Saik'uz, according to the alphabet listed on pp. v–vi, and alphabetically by English in the second section, English to Central Carrier. Entries in both sections contain the headword (in either Dakelh or English), the translation, and the part of speech. Many entries in the first section also contain a hand-drawn illustration. The first section is also introduced by an illustrated Dakelh alphabet.
There are several appendices that follow the dictionary. The first three appendices include information about the Dakelh sound system, locations, and parts of speech. The final appendix includes a word list of colours which include the Dakelh headword and the English translation.
