How are Entries Organised
Entries are organised topically and are numbered. The topics are Numerals, Nature, Animals, Plants, Body, Spirit, Human Relations, Man-made Things, Qualities, Pronominals/Demonstratives/Adverbials/etc, Events, and Place Names. Each entry has three columns: the English headword, the SENĆOŦEN translation in the orthography developed by Dave Eliot Sr., and the SENĆOŦEN word as written by Montler in his 1991 dictionary.
The English and Saanich indexes, which are listed first, are organized alphabetically.
