This is a bilingual, mono-directional, topical dictionary which translates phrases instead of lone words.

How are Entries Organised

This dictionary organizes phrases alphabetically and gives users the option to search by phrase type, or to access all phrases it contains. When searching by phrase type, the user can search for phrases in the following categories: Clans, Family Greetings, Greetings, and Who are You.

Each entry is organized in the middle of the screen, starting with the phrase in English, then the category the phrase belongs to, or Group Phrase. This is followed by the phrase in Oneida and the name of the speaker. At the bottom is a button labeled Listen which allows users to hear the pronunciation of the phrase.
