How are Entries Organised

The Search Dictionary section allows the viewer to search individual words in Paiute or English or to search alphabetized lists by typing the starting letter. Searches can be filtered by orthography and by dialect. Viewers can select only one orthography (either linguistic or community convention) and one dialect per search. Entries begin with the headword followed by its part of speech, and its English definition. Included in each entry are related word examples and sentence examples with audio files.
