Where is Information Coming from
The information in this dictionary comes from work done by the author during their residency in Nondalton between 1973 and 1975. During their time there, many named teachers attended the author with their work. This dictionary builds upon the Tanaina Noun Dictionary, which was compiled by James Kari.

As this dictionary is heavily influenced by Tenaina Noun Dictionary, it is organized in the same way–topically, with English headwords. Each entry has a headword in English, which sometimes includes sub-entries, and a Dena'ina translation. No other information is included in the entries.

The author points out that this dictionary is only a preliminary version and is therefore incomplete and likely contains mistakes.
The Alaska Native Language Archive provides 2 PDFs in the post of the dictionary which are fairly similar except for an additional page in the first copy with details about the dictionary. The Archive also notes that any annotations in the dictionary have been made by James Kari.
