This dictionary is divided into four primary sections: Upper Tanana to English (Non-Verb Section), Upper Tanana to English (Verb Section), English to Upper Tanana (Non-Verb Section), and English to Upper Tanana (Verb Section).
The Non-Verb sections are organized category. The categories are organized alphabetically, as are the entries within the entries. The Verb sections are further dived into a General Category and Special Category.
In the Non-Verb sections, headwords are followed by an English or Upper Tanana translation depending on the directionality of the section. No other information is included. Some of the English headwords include sub-entries.
The Verb sections are organized alphabetically. Each entry contains multiple conjugations or forms (without English translations), as well as an example sentence in both English and Upper Tanana.
