How are Entries Organised
Entries are organized alphabetically by Dakelh in Part I: Carrier–English. Entries include the Dakelh headword, the part of speech, the English translation, and an example sentence in Dakelh and English. Some entries include hand-drawn illustrations. Entries are organized alphabetically by English in Part II: English–Carrier, and include the English headword, the Dakelh headword, and the part of speech.
Part III: Appendices includes several appendices. The first two appendices include information about the Dakelh alphabet and a guide to pronunciation. The following appendices are topical word lists and include information about place names, directions, colours, counting, months, and kinship terms. Entries in these word lists include the English headword and the Dakelh translation.
