How are Entries Organised

Entries are organized alphabetically by Dakelh in Part 1, and entries include the Dakelh headword, part of speech, English translation(s), and an example sentence in Dakelh, followed by the English translation. Entries are organized alphabetically by English in Part 2, and entries include the English headword and the Dakelh translation. There is no other information included in these entries.

There are several appendices after the dictionary. The first two contain information about the Dakelh alphabet and sound system. The following appendices are topical word lists, including lists about directions, colours, counting, calendar, clothing, kinship, weekdays, and place names.

At the very end of the dictionary, there is a section of illustrations, which is a collection of approximately 75 one inch by one inch illustrations with the Dakelh term written below the image.
