This is a bilingual, mono-directional online dictionary that uses hyperlinks and a simple search function.

How are Entries Organised

Entries in this dictionary can be accessed in two primary ways: (1) users can search the entries by English or Michif headword, or (2) users can browse all entries in the dictionary under the Browse tab. Entries can be browsed alphabetically by clicking on Entries, topically by clicking on Themes, or by grammatical class by clicking on Parts of Speech. Entries that are pulled as the results of a search will appear in the Results tab.

All entries are listed by Michif headword, followed by the part of speech and the English gloss. Clicking on an entry opens a hyperlink to the full sub-page, which contains information about alternate spellings, pronunciation, and additional hyperlinks to applicable themes. Some entries also contain example sentences.
