How are Entries Organised
Entries are organized by semantic theme. The headers to distinguish the sections are not very prominent and can be found anywhere on the page. Some of the themes include Kinship Terms (Marital), Body (Body Products, Conditions, Infirmities), and Occupational Nouns (Handling Dog Terms). The Gwich'in headwords are handwritten while the English translations are typed and placed straight across.
The wordlist also includes a handwritten Gwich'in Alphabet before the entries and some grammatical information after the entries, which is all handwritten.

The author seemed to use their own orthography, so it can be difficult to understand. Most of the wordlist is handwritten; while the handwriting is relatively easy to read, it can be hard to decipher at times.
