Other Notes

The first appendix gives an in-depth explanation of the McDonald Alphabet, while the second is filled with legends and stories, both in Gwich'in and English.

The Introduction gives explanation as to why Gwich'in is spelled the way it is today as well as the meaning behind 'Loucheux'.
