This dictionary is currently inaccessible outside of the language communities. According to the SHI press release detailing its publication, SHI sent this dictionary to schools and community members in Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan, Metlakatla, and Nikiski and to entities in Arizona, California, North Carolina, Washington, and Canada. As of mid 2024, this dictionary is currently unavailable for purchase. However, SHI hopes to further their distribution and release future editions with more entries.

However, according to SHI's press release announcing its publication, Coast Tsimshian words are "superimposed over everyday scenes, including the bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, clothes, kitchen, food and drinks, living room, mudroom, shoreline, underwater, forest, river, plants, insects, camping and weather. They also teach body parts, colors, shapes and numbers. Each volume includes a glossary with English translations."
