However, there was a press release on May 15, 2024 from SHI announcing the release of four dictionaries, including the Everyday Haida dictionary. It seems this dictionary was published in 2024.

According to the SHI press release detailing its publication, SHI distributed this dictionary to schools and community members in Anchorage, Craig, Hydaburg, Juneau, Kasaan, Ketchikan, and Wasilla and to entities in Arizona, California, Washington, and Canada. As of mid 2024, this dictionary is currently unavailable for purchase. However, SHI hopes to further their distribution and release future editions with more entries.

However, according to SHI's press release announcing its publication, Haida words are "superimposed over everyday scenes, including the bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, clothes, kitchen, food and drinks, living room, mudroom, shoreline, underwater, forest, river, plants, insects, camping and weather. They also teach body parts, colors, shapes and numbers. Each volume includes a glossary with English translations."
