The first edition was published in 1966 by Les Presses de l'Université Laval, Québec. A revised version of the French edition was published by the same publisher in 1970. Editions of the English version, Ulirnaisigutiit : an Inuktitut-English dictionary of Northern Quebec, Labrador, and Eastern Arctic dialects (with an English-Inuktitut index) were published in in the following years in 1985 and 2014.
