How are entries organised

Each entry contains the English definition, followed by a playable audio file of the Cheyenne word or related Cheyenne words if the entry is an affix. Example sentences are listed if known, followed by the category of the entry and its etymology, if known. If a form is unique to a dialect, the dialect is marked by abbreviations.
Entries are organised topically under the Categories tab. Categories, including animals, numbers, clothing, and more are listed alphabetically as a menu on the left-hand side of the page. Within each category, entries are organised alphabetically.
An English to Cheyenne index is included under the English tab. Entries are organised alphabetically by English headword, listed with Cheyenne equivalent(s). Cheyenne translations in the English section are hyperlinked and take users back to the Cheyenne-English entries of the dictionary when clicked on.
