How are Entries Organised
The terms in this resource are organized topically, including the topics of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and other aquatic animals, and insects. Each page includes an illustration of the animal (for colouring) and the Biloxi term.
Following the main section of colouring pages there is a note to educators that explains what elements of Louisiana education standards per grade that this colouring book fulfills. There is also an index and pronunciation key. The Index is organized into four columns: Biloxi, Ancient Name, English, and the page number. The ancient name is not filled out for every term. The pronunciation key describes the Biloxi sound system organized by vowels and consonants.
