The physical book is available through the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, and it is available for purchase at the Tunica-Biloxi Resort gift shop. It has also been distributed to all public libraries in Louisiana by the Louisiana Wildlife Federation. The digital book is available open access on the Louisiana Wildlife Federation website.

How are Entries Organised

The terms in this resource are organized topically, including the topics of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and other aquatic animals, and insects. Each page includes an illustration of the animal (for colouring) and the Biloxi term.

Following the main section of colouring pages there is a note to educators that explains what elements of Louisiana education standards per grade that this colouring book fulfills. There is also an index and pronunciation key. The Index is organized into four columns: Biloxi, Ancient Name, English, and the page number. The ancient name is not filled out for every term. The pronunciation key describes the Biloxi sound system organized by vowels and consonants.
