Linda A Cumberland's PhD, A Grammar of Assiniboine: A Siouan Language of the Northern Plains (2005), cites this dictionary as being completed in 1978 in Wolf Point, Montana but left unpublished. Vincent Collette and Wilma Kennedy's A Concise Dictionary of Nakoda (Assiniboine) (2003) and the WorldCat description identify this dictionary as having been self-published in 1978.
