How are Entries Organised

This dictionary is searchable by both English and Arapaho keyword and possible to browse alphabetically by either English or Arapaho. Typing a letter into the search bar will pull up all entries beginning with that letter, in alphabetical order. Searching by Arapaho presents a list organised alphabetically by Arapaho headword, followed by the English definition. Searching by English results in a list of Arapaho to English entries, organised alphabetically by the English translation.

All entries contain the part of speech in parentheses and the English translation in quotation marks. Clicking on the entry results in a drop-down menu containing the underlying form, component morphemes, the semantic domain, additional definitions, and sources. Some entries contain example sentences as audio files. These example sentences do not include English translations.
