Documentation:Joint Assignments

This is a worthy endeavour for those looking for a challenge. Design an out-of-class project at a local museum, archive, garden, or laboratory. Assign a shared reading and ask students to collaborate on verbal or written responses. Get students' creative juices flowing by having them build, write, or perform together. Combine students with a set of skills with students with a set of data and see what they produce through collaboration. Or try a problem-based approach, with students working in groups as they develop their knowledge and understanding of an issue.
