Managing Weblinks

Howcan red.jpg How can I use this tool?

The Web Links tool allows you to store a collection of urls you would like your students to quickly access. Here are some ideas for using web links in your course:

  • News Articles: If you see a news article online that pertains to your course, quickly display the url for your students to view.
  • Professional Associations: If you would like your class to become familiar with professional associations that are related to the field they are studying, put the link to that association's website into web links.

Things consider red.jpg Considerations

You will have to check your list of web links frequently to be sure that a company has not moved the article or restructured their website. Students can become quickly frustrated over dead links.
