Everyone at EML:

As a member of EML, here is a checklist of the responsibilities you must complete with the help of the Lab Coordinator in order to be fully off-boarded.

Scheduling end of term interviews

We'd like to have an end of term interview with all former workers at EML. Please discuss your schedule with the Lab Coordinator to find a time that works to chat with the Emerging Media Mentor and Lab Supervisor about your time at EML.

Building access

McGavin

Please schedule a time with the Lab Coordinator to return your keycard for the McGavin office space.

IKB and Scarfe

The Lab Coordinator will contact IT to have your UBC card access to any EML spaces removed.

Removal from services

The Lab Coordinator will manually remove the former worker from the following services. Most services do not involve full removal and are detailed below. Attention should be paid to the closing down of accounts on particular hardware used by team members, they should hand-off project materials and their account will be dated for deletion from EML computers.

Confluence

Teams

GitHub

Former workers should be set to "members", removing administrative provileges.

Clockify

Former workers should have their Clockify "disabled", but not removed.

WordPress

Former workers should still have access, but be downgraded from "administrator" to "subscriber" if necessary.

Miro

Former workers should have their access changed to "guest".

Trello

Former workers should have their access changed to "guest".

Password changes

If you had the password to any of the following EML accounts, contact the Coordinator and tell them which ones. They will have their passwords reset for security.
