Weekly Update Oct.15th 2014

This week we got into contact with Molina, our liaison for Frog Hollow. We had a conference call with her and decided we are doing our CSL hours this Saturday at Frog Hallows' event called Pumpkin Patch In the City. While we are there volunteering we will be interacting with youth (high school students from grade 8-12) to engage their interest in a tea making workshop. We also met up as a group and assigned what part of the proposal we are going to revise. We also changed our workshop from how to make a herb garden to how to use the herbs in the herb garden to make local homegrown tea or infused herbal water.

Week 7

On October 18th, our group did our volunteer or CSL hours in one of the Frog Hollow’s event which was the “Pumpkin Patch”. During the volunteer work, our group were divided into teams and we were helping them with the event. We also interviewed some volunteer high school students and asked their opinion on our Herb tea making workshop. This week, we are trying to revise our charter, synthesize survey questions for our workshop, and then brain storm ideas for our workshop. We also divided the work for the charter revision, survey questions, and the contents our workshop.
