Project Scope Statement
Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House is committed to support community and some of our values are environment sustainability, innovation & creativity, & healthy communities. By providing simple ways to sustain and maintain food for the community, we continue to find unique ways to engage our community. Without a project like this, we don't have the structure or capacity to fulfill the needs of our community.
Goals and Objectives
- to review the food security programs currently providing & how to grow from it
- create or brainstorm the process of a social enterprise with youth in our community through a herb market
- workshops for youth or community in the benefits of herbs
- develop a herb garden on site

- provide a space where the community can feel comfort or peace through a herb garden

- help youth develop/design the green space for the herb garden (Project Green Space)
- support youth in develop and lead games on earth charter/sustainability/zero waste/local food/outdoor art
- host community booth to share project on gardening design, zero waste and local food at our annual pumpkin patch Oct 18th
- support youth in displaying art to the community
