Cressie, N. 1993. Statistics for spatial data. John Wiley and Sons, New York. (dt) This is the 'go to' book for spatial data analysis. It is more useful as an encyclopedia than as a text to learn spatial statistics. Other text's will refer to this to clarify or expand on an idea. I find that sometimes Cressie is too terse, borrows some notation from some other source, and needs to the original source to be understood.
