Remarks on your essay

Hi Anna,
Thanks for contributing to the wiki with your essay. Here's some feedback for you.

• Your essay gives a lot of facts about the life of Descartes. What is it that you really want to share with us here? Maybe you could find a specific topic or theme and explore it more. For instance, maybe you want to discuss more specifically how Descartes' method, inspired by mathematics, was to be used for general knowledge. Or maybe you want to talk more about how much travelling and being in various places influenced his life. So many things to chose from!

As for more technical remarks, here are a few suggestions.

• A title maybe? Using ==Title== makes things really easy.

• Consider using more formatting tags when displaying information. For example, your citation would look better with the <blockquote>Your quote here.</blockquote> tags that would display things as follow

  Your quote here.

  You could then even add more and put that in italic for example. More on this in the formatting help page.

• When citing your sources, consider using the <ref></ref> tag which produces something like this. If you do so, you then need to add the tag<references/>where you would like to see your references collected. See the code for this page to see how I did this or check the reference.
