Hello! My name is Ching and I'm a second year Biology major here at UBC.

I'm originally from Oakville, Ontario, but was born in Hefei, Anhui, and grew up in Toronto.

I'm taking EOSC270 this term to expand my interests further than cookie-cutter biology classes (thank you, BIOL200 last term, for having great lectures to fall asleep in). Jokes aside, I'm really passionate about different types of biology, and as it's my first time living and going to school in a city so close to the ocean, I really want to get to know it (and the things living in it) better.

Outside of class, I do research at the Soma and Ciernia labs, and raise a lot of plants in my apartment! I also love cafe hopping and searching for the best places to get a matcha latte in Vancouver.
