Suggestion

I think this is a great topic to look into considering how much colonialism has affected Indigenous health. It would be good to mention that settlers are responsible to introducing the illnesses that Indigenous peoples have encountered, especially in residential school systems. I think it would also be good to discuss the effects that Tuberculosis (TB) had on children in Residential school, as well as small pox which have both impacted the lives of Indigenous peoples. I look forward to reading your final piece!
