Discussion on Post-Colonial HK Identity

Hello, It's interesting to see that you've talked a bit about the historic relationship between Hong Kong and the British Empire. I think it was an important milestone in establishing Hong Kong. It would be amazing if you talked a bit about the relationship between Hong Kong and China and everything that has been occurring in Hong Kong with the recent protests in regards to the controversial extradition bill. To add to that, I feel an important event that would better explain the relationship of Hong Kong and China would be the end of the 99-year British reign and the 1997 handover of Hong Kong back to China.
