Academica papers that may be useful

I've always found gender roles/identity to be an interesting topic. We never covered this in detail in my psychology classes, but I'm glad I got to read your page! I made a couple of minor edits (sentence rephrasing, grammar). They are suggestions, of course. You can check them out in your "History" page and decide whether or not you want to keep them.

I see that you are still working on the "Modelling and Gender Roles" and "Expectations and Treatment"

Here are some references that you may find useful:

I couldn't find as many papers that specifically discuss parental influence in development of gender roles, but the above are some of the ones that seem more relevant. They can all be access through UBC Library's online archive.

Hi XiYuanLi,

Thank you so much for all the links/article suggestions you've provided for me! I have looked them over but they are slightly more related to parenting than gender development, but still very interesting to read! I have filled in the spots where I was missing content before, I was typing the information on a separate document so I have transferred the information over now. Thanks again for your suggestions and edits, very much appreciated!
