Relevant topic!

This is a great topic because it is very relevant in today's society, especially Western society. I like how you are going to look at the role of media. Will media include movies, TV and social media? I think social media is a very interesting way to explore plastic surgery. Additionally, I think it would be interesting to have a section on celebrities who have opened up about their plastic surgery. Lastly, looking at the medicalization of female attractiveness from the perspective of different cultures would be engaging. Many cultures have different ideals of beauty so it would be cool to see how their plastic surgery practices differ.
