Hi! I really like your topic since I think it continues to be a very relevant issue in today's society. I think it might be helpful to explore how Hollywood has historically depicted different cultures in very stereotypical and often offensive ways. One of the most famous examples I can think of is Breakfast at Tiffany's where Mickey Rooney (a white actor) plays an Asian landlord in an outright racist manor. This is just one of many examples though. I think providing historical context is a good way to lead into how representation in Hollywood continues to be an issue to this day. You could look at how there is not only a lack of diversity in casting, but also in writing, producing, directing etc. Overall, great start and I look forward to reading your final submission!
