The hint is probably not enough. Should really explain continuity. The other hint should be something to do with this mysterious limit you get.

The solution honestly is a mix of 3 solutions and none of them done particularly well.

L'Hopital's rule should be in solution 2.

There should be no mention of the squeeze theorem - this argument is not obvious (and if this limit is covered in class, it is covered with the squeeze theorem already) and this should not be a solution.

The first solution should be using the definition of a derivative to evaluate this limit (which of course is proved using the squeeze theorem...).

Do we feel that the continuity argument is worded well?
