What do you think about my thoughts: (con't from group discussion in our classroom discussion) After reading our summaries, our examples fit into one of the following:

ethical dilemma - teacher, bank manager

ethical violations - accountant

ethical distress - LPN

medical researcher - risk of ethical situations arising is low. DHs can learn from their high level of expectations.

Sounds good. I'll direct my portion to what DHs can learn from the situation medical researchers are in

Thanks for your thoughts, Marlene. I also think that if everyone expands on their own sections to incorporate what DH can learn about handling ethical situations.

I find it super confusing having 2 discussion threads. Emma; I agree with your thoughts. Cheta made a plan for our assignment 2. I think it's also important to include a confidentiality section or incorporate it with other sections.

I agree, Rachelle. I'm thinking it's just something we need to get familiar with. Confidentiality should be included within the report (my opinion).

Hi, So I was trying to rearrange our work into a better order and I don't know what wiki decided to do. It boxed off sections and didn't show all the text..some parts went into a boxed in area. Our summary is back to what it was before I did those changes. But how do we edit our page without this happening??

Wiki is full of CODES!!! i.e. if you put a : at the beginning of a line, wiki will indent the entire paragraph. So, I copied and pasted our summaries into word and organized it into sections. I didn't change anyone's work, just changed the order and added headings for each section.

Hi ladies,

 Sorry I was away yesterday, it looks like lots has been going on!  I like the idea of each of us working on our own summary, but I think we are going to need 1 person who will pull the whole thing together so it reads as one piece.  I don't mind doing that since I'm supposed to be the summarizer for this week. 
 I agree that we do need to include a section on confidentially, I think it's important to the assignment.  
 One thing that I need help with...I'm not clear what is the difference between an ethical dilemma and ethical distress, to me they mean the same thing?  If you're having an ethical dilemma you're in ethical distress...does that make sense?

 You're right Wiki is confusing to use because of all the codes!  I'm not sure why it boxed off my last discussion post?
