Critiques and Suggestions

Hi Prithu,

Such a thorough and nice review! Here are my scores and more details below that. Please let me know if you need any further clarification.
Scale of 1 to 5, where 1 = strongly disagree and 5 = strongly agree:

[5] The topic is relevant for the course.
[4] The writing is clear and the English is good.
[5] The page is written at an appropriate level for CPSC 522 students (where the students have diverse backgrounds).
[4] The formalism (definitions, mathematics) was well chosen to make the page easier to understand.
[4] The abstract is a concise and clear summary.
[3] There were appropriate (original) examples that helped make the topic clear.
[3] There was appropriate use of (pseudo-) code.
[5] It had a good coverage of representations, semantics, inference and learning (as appropriate for the topic).
[4.5] It is correct.
[3] It was neither too short nor too long for the topic.
[3] It was an appropriate unit for a page (it shouldn't be split into different topics or merged with another page).
[2] It links to appropriate other pages in the wiki.
[5] The references and links to external pages are well chosen.
[3.5] I would recommend this page to someone who wanted to find out about the topic.
[3.5] This page should be highlighted as an exemplary page for others to emulate.

Comments:[wikitext]

Generally, you did a thorough review and I can’t find any significant section missing (probably just a motivational example), however, I believe this page can use the following suggestions: Motivational Example

A motivational example can be presented to summarize the learning materials, especially for this page that has required grounds for an example to be built upon it.

Language

  • I would suggest you to read one more time the page and do a proof reading. I would recommend you to install Ginger plugin for Chrome (free).
  • I found the most of sections to be verbally extensive, and I believe they can be presented more concisely, as the size of the page seems to be a little long. Perhaps you can skip some sections’ details and refer the readers to the dedicated pages for those sections or other references.

Format

I believe you can use much more MATH tag to make the mathematical expressions more eye-appealing.

Links

With respect to the vast areas that are covered in this page, linking terms and concepts to appropriate wiki pages seems to be crucial.

All above suggestions aside, you did a good job!

Sincerely,
Yaashaar Hadadian

Thanks Yaashaar I have updated the page considering your feedbacks. Please have a look and update the marks as you feel. Specifically, I added the Motivational Examples, one at the very beginning and also for many important sections such as direct/indirect causes, establishing cause-effect relationship etc. Links to broader concepts such as System Models etc are also added for interested users. I have also corrected the typos, and added math tags for better readability. Hope this helps
