The last classes covered urban soils, soil degradation (i.e. erosion), the practice exam and a "fun" review.

The practice exam, and many of the review questions (from Soil Science Trival Pursuits) are extremely relevant. For urban soils, consider the key constraints imposed by the urban environment such as compaction and rooting depth; but understand that the soil processes are the same. For soil degradation, we focused on water erosion as it is a major process in agricultural and forestry landscapes - a basic understanding of the processes and impacts is sufficient.
