Problem Set No.2

For Q1 and 3, we are asked about dominant pore size. does "finest dominant pore size" mean more small pores? can we answer Q3 with "big" or "small"?

In Q1 part d) of problem set #2 you are asked about the radius of the largest pore. See the definition of dominant pore size and largest pores, and how you "determine" them in your lab manual - lab #3 introduction text.

Note in question 3 of the lab, there was a similar question to the wording you have above: it asks you to compare the dominant pore size of the two samples (medium sand and coarse sand) and indicate which is the smallest.
