Will we be getting more details on the format of the midterm on Friday - will it be similar to a timed quiz on Canvas or will there be any sort of software that needs to be downloaded or accessed? I have heard some rumours about 'lockdown' software that is sometimes used.

Hi Madeline No "lockdown" software will be used for the midterm exam The format of Friday's midterm will be similar to the practice online exam posted in canvas yesterday. Please make sure you have good internet, can access canvas and try the practice quiz.

Any "additional" instructions will be on the exam itself.

Please note: that you will write the exam during your regular class time. Section 001 from 10:00 to 10:50 and section 002 from 11:00 to 11:50
