Topic and Suggestions!

Hey! Your Wiki Entry was so interesting to read as make birth control is hardly discussed or addressed in today's societal settings, I think you picked a really great topic to write about. A suggestion however would be to perhaps add a little but more references to help expand some of the topics (or methods of male birth control). Another addition you could make (if you are looking to expand your entry) is adding psychological effects or implications of some of the methods. For example, as a vasectomy is a permanent procedure (or as you mentioned not necessarily permanent but rarely reversible) does it have negative psychological effects on the individual or their partner? are there any implications during these procedures?

A few Suggestions!

I was very interested in the topic you picked for your wiki page, especially since it has since become a larger discussion in the media. I liked how you informed the reader the various types of birth control for women and men on the market currently. I would suggest adding more about the controversy surrounding the debate around male contraceptive. For example many men would not take it because it has too many side effects, which are essentially comparable if not less than that of women's contraceptives. Also, why is it not on the market yet, if it such high need? I would also would have liked to see more peer reveiwed sources, if they are available.

Specific examples of Male Birth Control Being Tested & Reasons Behind Delay

Hi, I found your topic extremely interesting! I read an article about this by Vox a few months ago which I think you might find helpful. Although you explain the general idea behind new research for male birth control, you don't provide specific examples on the methods currently being tested. This article linked below discusses a gel, male birth control pill and non surgical vasectomy which could be interesting for you to highlight in your article. It also provides reasons as to why it has taken so long for researchers to develop and get these drugs or methods approved and on the market.

Academic research

Hey! Interesting topic choice! I'm assuming there is more to be added to the page, but more Empirical data or Peer reviewed studies might help clarify your points a bit more! I also didn't realize this until after I saved my page, but if you format your page with sub-headings it automatically creates a table of contents that might make your page look more organized.

Forms of Birth Control not Available in Canada?

This page was fascinating to me! I find it so interesting that so many people are concerned about the side effects of male birth control when women have suffered from (sometimes severe) side affects for almost 50 years. I wonder if you have looked into birth control options not available in Canada. In other countries (England and parts of the US that I know of) the rod is another form of birth control available for women. While I believe that Canada is quite advanced in regards to contraception, its interesting that some technology is not available here.

This link explains the rod better than I can! https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/birth-control/birth-control-implant-implanon
